Life’s Lessons with Endota Spa

I am pleased to be bringing you today’s blog post in conjunction with Endota Day Spa who have just launched the life’s lessons project –  a celebration of the profound pearls of wisdom passed down from generation to generation, from mother to daughter and friend to friend. They are those wise words of wisdom that give us strength, guidance or even just a life hack or two. I know I have my own little collection of life lessons and in an ode to Mother’s Day, Endota Spa are inviting Australians to recognise and share their favourite lessons from the influential women in their lives.

Flowers & Candles

Hello Friends – I am still here but have very much joined the slow living movement this year.  No crazy schedules and trying to keep up with constantly posting new content but just living in the moment.  I have had some lovely shoots lately that I will share in the coming weeks but I really would love to use this space to also showcase some favourite images that I take.  

Today here are some stunning David Austin roses that took up residence in my house last week.  We celebrated my husbands 50th this month and last weekend had a small dinner party at home with his brothers and their wives – just the 8 of us – the perfect night!  A private chef cooked the most amazing meal for us and left me with with a spotless kitchen that looked better than when they started!  If you are in Sydney and looking for someone to do your catering look no further than Cookbook Catering – their food and service is spectacular!

Today we also celebrate my birthday so appropriate that I share with you my favourite flowers glowing in beautiful candlelight!

Easter Party 2015 with The Design Centre

It has become an Easter tradition on the blog to show the gorgeous party that The Design Centre Chelsea Harbour, London hosts each year.

My lovely reader Caroline always does an amazing job with this party and the 2015 Easter Party is no exception.  Once again so many sweet details and I love the look of that Grown Ups Bar.

9th Birthday Celebrations & A Cute Balloon

We had a birthday in the house last week and with thanks to Emily from Emiko Blue we were able to celebrate with the prettiest of party bags and one very cute balloon.

Sofia turned 9 and asked to take her friends to Skyzone trampoline park here in Sydney.  In my usual attempts to make things a little prettier and girlier we stayed away from the traditional trampoline colours and were thrilled when Emily delivered to us the pretty pink and gold spot party bags and an Eat Cake balloon.

Liv from Jack + Hunter create a cake using the trampoline theme but in the pink, black and gold colours!  So perfect to add a bit more glamour to the party.

Cookbook Crush – Cooking for Me and You

I have been busy in the kitchen once again and my latest Cookbook Crush is Cooking for Me and You, the latest release from Thermomix.

These delicious Chocolate + Zuccini Mini Loaves were perfect for a recent get together and ever so easy to prepare in the Thermomix that takes the hard work out of anything. You can find the recipe on page 117.  Enjoy!
