Just popping in quickly during this very busy Christmas time to say hi and show you some great new products that landed on my doorstep a few weeks ago.

As entertainers I am sure you are always looking for stylish and unique ways to present, deliver, transport and gift your special treats so these fantastic wooden boxes will suit you perfectly.

CakeBox is a wooden cake and cupcake carrier, handcrafted in the USA from North American pine. CakeBox can accommodate round layer cakes or 18 cupcakes.  It is also sold with an optional leather handle.

PieBox is the wooden pie carrier, also handcrafted in the USA from North American pine. PieBox accommodates most standard-sized 9-inch pie plates and again comes with an optional leather-carrying strap.

Digital Bravery e-course

So in this day and age who doesn’t use Facebook, twitter or instagram?   Who isn’t using digital media in their business?  It is a given that we all use these platforms to promote and find success with our varied and wide business so I was incredibly excited when my lovely friend Jaclyn from Blog Society announced her Digital Bravery e-course.

Launched yesterday Jaclyn has put together an amazing e-course to help you become fearless with digital media.  I met Jaclyn many years ago through this wonderful world of blogging and we have become great friends, catching up regularly to chat about our passions for blogging, marketing and getting the word out so I am proud to be supporting her as an affiliate with this wonderful programme she has created.

Sienna’s 10th Birthday Celebration

I was looking back through some photos earlier in the week and realised that while I showed some photos of Sienna the week of her 10th Birthday back in August, I actually never showed any of the photos from her party.

This year we celebrated her birthday with a small slumber party with her 3 closest friends.   The girls arrived mid afternoon for some “girl time” which included afternoon tea with adorable themed treats – cookies, choc coated oreos and some mini chocolate bars – all made by Donna from Sweet Table .  We then headed out for an early dinner at a local restaurant and home for cake and movie watching.  The yummy bumble bee cake was made by Anna from The Floury Baker.

The next morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast of smoothies, hot chocolate, banana bread, pancakes and eggs.

As the girls arrived they each received a calico tote bag with their Essentials Sleepover Kit inside.  These sweet bags were created by Nicole from Penny Lane Studio and inside I included pyjamas, a cute eye mask and some nail polish – all items the girls got to take home as their favour bag.

We had a wonderful wonderful celebration – Sienna has the most polite and lovely friends who made the party so much fun.  As is all the rage with 10 year olds they put together a fantastic Video Star clip which I have attached at the bottom of this post!  Another simple party with a few special details to tie things together!  Bit of a motto for life really!

Daisy’s First Holy Communion

Simple, elegant and special events are the best aren’t they!  Today I have some images from the perfect Holy Communion created by my lovely friend Gillian from Crumbs of Comfort Cake Design for her beautiful daughter Daisy.

Daisy celebrated her First Holy Communion with a gorgeous celebration that featured glitter, gold, cream and peach.  I love that Daisy’s hair accessory is a piece that Gillian snipped off the bottom of her wedding veil and had made – so special.
